Farewell To My Blog, But Not To Technology

It was a good run, I learned many things from this class and tasks I did, or should I say, I created? The syllabus was pushing my creativity at all times. Much more than the last year's equivalent of this course. The process was hard at times, although rather rewarding when you completed and submitted your activity, even commentated on by the instructor later on, which is a unique feeling.

My favorite task was preparing the material about the Flipped Classrooms (FC). I see FC as an entirely new platform where I can use what I learned about the innovative side of the ELT this/last year.

My least favorite task is preparing an activity for the Corpus method, I think this method can be fruitful when used with supportive elements like designing quizzes, and jigsaw puzzles about the corpora material students engaged with. However, I don't think it would stand alone in the class as a platform like FC.

I think taking this course is a must if the teacher candidates want to be competitive in their expertise. Since technological developments are fast enough to change each generation so much that we have to reform our pedagogical approach accordingly.

To be honest, I thought writing these many Blogs was a burden, I was going to criticize it, but now I get the use of that. I can revisit my past experiences here, and get ideas from them for my future classrooms whenever I want. The deadline never ends then. GOODBYE :D

Also, thanks to my partner Toprak Kişioğlu for assisting through the all of the assignments.
