My Experience About Writing A Film Review On Wiki Page With My Friend

Probably all of us have been in situations that made us visit the wiki pages to get information for our daily needs or responsibilities like completing homework. Even with that huge use of wikis, surely none of us had thoughts about how they have been written. They were always there for us to read. Today, I and my friend Toprak experienced the other side, the enormous community working for us and serving our needs.

Planning, writing, and reviewing were the processes we followed for writing our wiki page. It was enjoyable to follow this course with my friend, of course, especially deciding on the addition of media assets for our wiki was a fun experience. Although it was enjoyable, the idea of someone going to read our page to get information to decide whether to watch the film or not was serious, I think. Watching one special film can change lives after all.

The experience we had gave us the hint about what wiki writers engage for transferring information in the digital environment. Also, as I mentioned, it can be enjoyable too. However, the reliability of wiki sources is a shady matter considering everyone can write with the author's permission, like what happened in our experience. Of course, every wiki source has its own rules, but more or less, they have the same open-source library principle which turns around learning communities' collective knowledge.

In short, it was a fun experience and showed us the importance and simplicity of writing wiki pages and sharing our information.
