My Experience With Padlet and Short Ellaboration of The Use of Collaborative Writing For Learning Purposes

Hi, Today I would like to discuss the Padlet experience I had recently, and my humble thoughts about the overall effect the collaborative writing tools have on the development of 21st-century learning

It can be a rush statement but for me, and my friends, this experience was much easier than wiki writing because of the modern interface and tools it brings for creators. It was also much more suitable for collaborative writing, considering me and my peers don't have to wait for locks and can actually write together unlike what happened in wiki writing.

When it comes to improving learners writing skills, the activities I and my friends did which we mentioned in our blogs, were so helpful. However, there is an important fact about our profession and age while we are doing these activities. It can be very helpful for self-aware and capable learner groups such as college students and adult learners. Although, young students who would have shorter attention spans in the future will get bored easily. So, having these activities divided part by part at each lesson in the classroom with the supervision of our teachers would be better for the learning process of future students. Also as I examine, our teacher of the Educational Technology Class tried to follow more or less the same method.

In the end, and from all of my experiences, I think the use of technology in learning is certainly the future and currently the reality as well. Although how to use technology will be a matter of discussion considering that we are still at the beginning of the new century.

Check out my friends Bora, Eren, and Topraks pages and read their experiences as well.
