I Created Magazine Cover and It Was Terrible, So I Made It Agaın

Making a Magazine Cover was one of the last things I expected from this year's Educational Technology Class. Although, it makes sense since teachers give students homework like this all the time. However, they are usually done in the physical environment. Ah, we have memories of that. Telling our parents we forgot to do our "performance homework" the last day before the deadline and watching them make our homework with scissors and glue all over the place while they constantly rebuke us.

Including that, now I think our assignment makes perfect sense. Since new generations are so settled in the digital world, we can use interfaces like Canva to replace these outdated methods for homework which requires physical engagement. Also, we can observe that students hate more and more from this style of homework as well.

When it comes to telling you about my own experience, I think I misunderstood the meaning of making a magazine cover on my first try. It was more like a book cover. It is best for us to be showing this abomination:

Thanks to the advice of my instructor, I turned the thing above into this:

And like all of the activities we did, except wiki writing, it was very entertaining and gave me one more important tool which I can use for my assignments to my students in the future.
