Flipped Classroom Material Experience
Today, I will share my flipped classroom (FC) and my experience in preparing material for it.
As a concept, FC is rather new for English Language Teaching and teaching in general, although I found many regular-life-like things and tools to utilize to enhance my flipped classroom material. Maybe it is because me and my generation are so entangled with the digital environments. I thought that this was like a natural teaching method for me. In the future, I think with a more digital world this idea will gain more importance in teaching circles and me.
FC has many advantages like providing the field independence for the students, stress-free task creating, and execution for both teachers and students. Also, the interactive digital environment focusing more on the attributes the students have may enhance the general attitude towards the learning subject. Since digital worlds don't have limitations physical classrooms have.
However, this digital world comes at the cost of digital equipment of course. FC is a futuristic concept for most of the students around the world, unfortunately.
In our task, we used Canva for our base work. We prepared a slight show and converted it to a mp4 video to later edit it on the Vegas Pro Video Editing Software. In Vegas Pro, we added our voices over the slight show we converted from Canva, did things like enriching our material with background music, adjusting the decibels of several sounds, etc.

At the end, we uploaded and organized the parts of our video on YouTube.
YouTube interface, it has useful but generally limited tools for the FC |

Overall, this concept was very enjoyable to work with, I once again thank my pair Toprak Kişioğlu for assisting me.
